Move delicious library 3 to new computer
I know how to move the patches from one machine to another, but making sure they wind up in the exact same slots so that old projects open properly is going to be tricky I think. I've of course created lots of patches that are stored in the VST library on my current machine.
One thing in particular that I'm worried about is almost all my projects use a Virus TI. I am in a slightly odd situation as most of this (installation of software/hardware/optimization) will be done for me by the company building my computer. I don't mind the work, as long as all my stuff ends up in the right places. Someone else's method maybe better, but in my experience with upgrading to a newer Windows OS, I always prefer a fresh install. She has three sisters actress Kika Markham, Sonia Markham, and Jehane Markham. Finally, I'd do a fresh install of Ableton then install all my plugins.Īgain, I've never used Ableton on Windows but this is just my process of moving software and their data files to a new PC. At the age of four, she moved with her father to Kenya she developed a. Also, I would download new copies of all my software plugins & drivers, compatible for Windows 10 64bit, to that external drive. But in my experiences with moving any software to a new PC, I usually backup all the data files (i.e., project folders, samples, etc.) from the old PC to an external drive (you can transfer the files PC-to-PC if you like). I have a 64bit Win 10 PC, but I don't use it for Ableton, I have a MacBook Pro for that. I'm just looking for best practices/suggestions on how to go about this process.
